We are looking for new Advisory Board members!
We are currently recruiting for Advisory Board members to help steer the work of Healthwatch Southwark. These are local people, who live or work in the community and can provide insights and guidance to the team.
While the team are eager to hear from anyone who can contribute to the Advisory Board and the work of Healthwatch Southwark, they are currently particularly interested in individuals with experience and knowledge in the areas of:
- Safeguarding
- Finance
- Income generation
- Marketing
- Stakeholder Engagement
Overview of the Role
The HWS Advisory Board plays a key oversight role, providing insight and guidance to the Healthwatch team. Comprised of local unpaid volunteers, the Advisory Board:
- ensures the involvement of local people in HWS work and decision-making,
- advises and decides on our strategy and priorities,
- helps with decisions about how to use our powers,
- upholds our independence,
- supports partnership working, and
- ensures the effective delivery of the HWS mission.
