To use the Directory:

  • Scroll down – to see the full list of organisations and their services (types of support).
  • To enlarge- to make the list bigger, click 'view larger version' in the bottom right hand corner.
  • To filter – Click on ‘filter’, then ‘add filter’ and use the drop down arrows to select the type of information you are looking for, such as ‘service provided.'
  • To sort – Click on ‘Sort’, then ‘Pick a field to sort by’ and use the drop down arrow to select an option such as ‘Location' for instance, from a-z.
  • To download or print – click on the three dots, then ‘CVS file’. You can see a print preview in here too and opt to ‘save as a pdf’.
  • To search – Use the ‘Search’ button to the right of the screen to search for organisations or services.

For urgent help in a crisis, get support immediately.

  • Thinking about suicide or acting on suicidal thoughts,
  • Severely self-harming,
  • Experiencing psychosis, where you are out of touch with reality,
  • Being in a situation that could put you or other people at risk. 

If you are in immediate danger, dial 999. If you need help but it is not an emergency, dial 111 (for advice/support).

Each mental health trust in south London has a telephone line for people in urgent need. The lines are free to call and open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 0800 731 2864 and choose option 1 to speak to the local mental health crisis line. 

Interested in Training?

Southwark Council are offering fully funded, Mental Health First Aid and suicide prevention training for Southwark organisations.

The courses are for people who work or volunteer with Southwark residents, including members of faith and voluntary or community groups
