As we move into the next stage of the coronavirus pandemic, some patients are being identified by clinicians (doctors and other healthcare professionals) as no longer needing to be on the clinically extremely vulnerable list. What does this mean?

On Friday 24 April I attended the Southwark Mental Health Carers Forum, where we heard about the proposal to move mental health inpatient wards for Lambeth residents from Lambeth Hospital to the Maudsley in Southwark.

Ramadan, beginning on Thursday 23 April, can be a challenge for Muslims living with diabetes, for whom the medical implications of undertaking a prolonged fast can be serious if not managed well.

The local Coronavirus Pandemic Committee (CPC) was convened by Professor Kevin Fenton, Director of Public Health for Southwark, on 6 February and is meeting regularly.
