Join Our Team: Community Health Ambassadors Officer
Healthwatch Southwark is recruiting for a Community Health Ambassadors Officer.
We are looking to recruit people with the following characteristics:

Main purpose of the role
The key objectives of the role are to:
- Develop and Co-ordinate the Community Health Ambassadors Network to address local health and wellbeing priorities and reduce health inequalities.
- Build relationships with historically under-represented communities.
- Research, adapt and share health and wellbeing messaging to effectively reach target communities and to help eliminate barriers for access to local services.
- Present feedback from Ambassadors to statutory partners and support Ambassadors to develop and deliver projects
- Provide support and advice to Community Health Ambassadors in their ongoing activities.
Additional Information
- Responsible to: Healthwatch Southwark Manager
- Salary: £30,623 per annum
- Contract Duration: 12 months
- Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Location: The office is in 11 Market Place, London, SE16 3UQ for a minimum of two days per week (pro rata). The postholder will also be required to work in the community and may work the rest of the week from home.
