Key projects
Black Mental Health
This project was driven by evidence that Black African and Caribbean backgrounds face inequalities in accessing mental health care, as well as in their experiences of care and the quality of treatment outcomes.
Learning Disabilities and Autism
We visited three day centres to speak to learn more about health inequalities experienced by people with learning disabilities and autistic people.
Latin American Healthcare Access
This project explores the accessibility of health and care services for Latin American communities in Southwark. It responds to feedback we received that levels of Latin American engagement with health and social care services remain low.
Tower Bridge Care Centre
We spent six hours at the home over two days and spoke to 8 residents, 6 visitors and 10 staff members. Take a look at our recommendations.
Waiting for Hospital Treatment: A qualitative report on patient experience in Southwark
We carried out 11 in-depth interviews with local people waiting for hospital treatment, and based on our findings, we made seven recommendations.
The Impact of Caring on Unpaid Carers
We have been listening to unpaid carers about their experiences, the support they receive and further support they would like, and the impact that their role has on their life and wellbeing.
Strong in Southwark
We have launched a joint report with the Southwark LGBT Network looking at the experiences and needs of the LGBTQ+ communities in Southwark.
